<p>eM Client can synchronize its calendar to shared calendars on a server. This way, multiple users can access the same calendar. This feature is useful for scheduling public resources. For instance, employees can log onto a public calendar for company cars or meeting rooms to book the use of or check the availability of the car or room.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>To access a shared calendar in eM Client, you do as you would to setup a normal CalDAV account:</p>
<div class="MCDropDownHead"><a href="javascript:void(0);" class="MCDropDownHotSpot" id="MCDropDownHotSpot_4023585362_1" onclick="FMCDropDown( this ); return false;"><img style="border: none;margin-right: 5px;" src="ms-its:manual.chm::/skinsupport/dropdownclosed.gif" MadCap:altsrc="../skinsupport/dropdownopen.gif" class="MCDropDownIcon" onload="if ( typeof( FMCPreloadImage ) == 'function' ) { FMCPreloadImage( '../SkinSupport/DropDownOpen.gif' ); }" />Then fill in the name of and URL of the shared CalDAV location.</a>
<div class="MCDropDownHead"><a href="javascript:void(0);" class="MCDropDownHotSpot" id="MCDropDownHotSpot_4023585362_2" onclick="FMCDropDown( this ); return false;"><img style="border: none;margin-right: 5px;" src="ms-its:manual.chm::/skinsupport/dropdownclosed.gif" MadCap:altsrc="../skinsupport/dropdownopen.gif" class="MCDropDownIcon" onload="if ( typeof( FMCPreloadImage ) == 'function' ) { FMCPreloadImage( '../SkinSupport/DropDownOpen.gif' ); }" />Finally you can provide your credentials in the account window or when being prompted during account synchronization.</a>
<p>And you now have a calendar account that's synchronized to a public calendar, any changes you or users of the calendar uses will be uploaded to the same CalDAV server and displayed in you eM Calendar.</p>
